ENTRY QUALIFICATION

1. B.Sc-Nursing 4 years a) Candidate with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually. b) Candidate shall be medically fit. c) The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years. d)Entrance test shall be conducted by University/State Government.
2. B.MLS 4 years Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany + Zoology) subjects.
3. B.Optometry 4 years Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics with 50% Marks.
4. B.MRIT 4 years Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
5. B.Pharm 4 years Admission in the Degree in Pharmacy shall be 10+2 passed in Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCB/PCM and English or Dip. In Pharmacy with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
6. BPT 4 years+1 year internship years Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (or Botany & Zoology) with 50% aggregate with English pass.
7. BND 4 years Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with 50% marks and English.
Common Criteria for admission (BMLS, B.Optom, B.MRIT, BPT & BND)

  1. He/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Allied and Healthcare Course.
  2. Reservation policy for admission in under graduate programs shall be as per the State/Centre Government norms.
  3. Up to 10% seats shall be considered for lateral entry admission in Under Graduate program, wherever in respective program is permitted.
  4. Medical fitness certificate is mandatory to submit and it is to be endorsed by Government medical officer.
  5. The admission criteria shall be updated in accordance with the Commission directives from time to time.

Note: The curriculum and admission criteria updated from time to time by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) shall be adhered to for BMLS, B. Optometry, B.MRIT, BPT and Bachelor in Nutrition & Dietetics with Honours programs.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

North East States Quota: The beneficiary 8 North Eastern States conducts entrance examination for the allotted seats. Candidates willing to take admission to the various programs conducted at RIPANS, Aizawl may contact their concerned state authority.

Candidate should not be allowed to change their course without approval of their State Government.
Outside North East States Seats: Seats reserved for outside NE States shall be filled by the Institute by inviting applications through inter-se merit on the basis of NEET (UG) 2026 score.
Any seat(s) remaining vacant from outside NE states quota and NE beneficiary states quota will be filled by the candidates from NE states through inter-se merit on the basis of NEET (UG) 2026 score.

ADMISSION SCHEDULE
  1. Commencement of Admission : Online Admission through Institute website www.ripans.ac.in, on payment of application fee of Rs. 300/- from 1st July 2026 – 18th July 2026.
  2. Physical Verification of original documents, payment of fees and Hostel admission: As per admission schedule.
